Have just returned from a 4 night, 5 day ski trip to Hotel L'Aigle with Snow Coach, had a brilliant holiday. The highlight of the trip was the ski exploring with Chloe and Lily, absolutely brilliant team, who thought of everything fun and safety all roled into one well done girls you really made our holiday enjoy the rest of your season and keep having fun. The rest of the staff where also top class all really friendly, lovely food, and because of the big tables you meet and make friends with a really big gang of people. We will definitely be visiting again - thank you xxx

This was my first time staying in the French alps and from the minute we arrived at Hotel L'Aigle we was greeted by friendly and very welcoming staff.

We arrived early Saturday morning and our lift passes were all organized waiting for us at reception, giving us the chance for a full first day out on the slopes. I couldn't believe how close we was to the lifts, it is literally 30 seconds from the hotel.
As people have said on here before, the holiday experience is not all about the Hotel, it is the views and the skiing/boarding, but the rooms are very clean, tidy and well presented. Also i must add the view from my room down the Valley was spectacular!

Once the day out on the slopes was over, we came back to a pleasantly warm hotel for tea/coffee and cakes, then you could relax even further in the Hotels outside Hot Tub, eying the views of the opposite mountain range. Perfect.

Dinner time came and the 4 course meal was always very nice and also plentiful, The serving staff always ensured that that we was all happy and our glasses filled with water or wine.

All in all, a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend this hotel on to anyone!

I had a blast. The staff were extremely friendly and approachable, the atmosphere was great, food was lovely (plus free wine) and not to mention the skiing was awesome! They just took all the worries out of the holiday allowing me to enjoy my time there. Would definitely recommend.

This was our first family ski holiday to France with Snowcoach. We had read some reviews of the hotel from last season and were apprehensive as to what to expect this season, however there was no need.
As stated by other recent reviewers, the hotel has had a complete change of staff this season and was great especially considering the reasonable price we paid.
The hotel could not be faulted on cleanliness (well done Andrea!) and the lounge and dining area were comfortable and nicely decorated. The roaring fire was always appreciated on chilly evenings.
We had a family room and whilst it was compact, there was plenty of wardrobe space. The room was slightly tired (especially the bathroom) and could do with a little bit of tlc but nothing overly drastic and about the standard you would expect from a 2 star hotel. I'm sure that sorting out the condensation on the windows would improve the room immensely. Being a skiing holiday, we spent most of the day on the slopes and only slept in the rooms so it was not a problem for us.
The food was great. A good choice of hot and cold items for breakfast ~ the porridge is lovely and just the thing before hitting the slopes when the temperature is -15! Lovely cakes when we came in from the slopes in the late afternoon and a wonderful 4 course meal in the evening accompanied by very drinkable wine! The chef came round in the evening to make sure everyone was happy with their food and was very accommodating if there was something on the menu for the next day which was not suitable (due to allergies etc).
All the staff in the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly and I could not fault any of them.
The hot tub is a must for refreshing tired legs at the end of a day skiing and was a big hit with the kids in our party. Again I was impressed with the cleanliness of the tub.
A great holiday and I wish I was there now. Vin chaud anyone?!

Dellaking all you did is moan! You said you didnt ski tho! The skiing is amazing - I dont think the hotel is trying to be a 5 star Savoy! When you go on a skiing holiday you shouldnt really care about the hotel as much as you have emphasised!!

I stayed here for three nights with my family on a Snowcoach holiday. It was a very good experience indeed! The hotel has everything you need, the staff are plentiful and amazingly helpful, food is good, wine is free and the slopes are just outside the front door. What more could you want for this price? Nothing really! I have stayed in the swankiest of chalets and the most basic of hostels but all in all this was about the best experience I have had (and this was about my 50th time skiing).
Nowhere is perfect and I feel the frequent changeovers with luggage left in the lounge area gives the place a transient feel. The boot room could easily be improved with some more shelves, hangers and a drying system. Parts of the hotel feel functional rather than luxurious, but I really am splitting hairs now. It is a great holiday experience overall and you really should try it. Well done Snowcoach and Hotel L'Aigle!!!

We have just had an amazing week in this hotel, we know they have had problems in the past but everything was truly fantastic. The staff were all so helpful and friendly, the hotel was spotless and the food, well, what can we say it was incredible. The chef came out each night to check that everyone was happy. They worked very hard to ensure that it was a holiday to remember for all the right reasons. We are definately going back
