“Quick easy and good value”

NIce and easy good food quick and easy not 5 star but very good value. I don't think it would be possible for anyone to finish the raclette.

“Great restuarant!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2013

we ate here about 4 times, lunchtime and evening - all the food was great and lots of it! beware of the 3 courses - you need to be hungry! our son had their plat du jour which happened to be a curry and rice and loved it! if you like cheese have the french onion soup! very good value for money and nice people running it.

“Fantastic Steak....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2013

Found this place after wandering around most of Saint Gervais, it doesn't look amazing from the outside, more of a cafe type affair. Upon entering we were shown to our table by a very attentive waiter, I had a very good value 3 course set menu with the main being a perfectly done steak. The 3 course set menu was only 18 Euros which is great value, especially for a ski resort. Highly recommended.

“Good choice to sample local specialities”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2013

On skiing holiday looking to try some local dishes, 4 adults and 4 children. This was recommended by resident of St. Gervais. Atmosphere in front of restaurant was great, sadly we were seated in the back room, with no other guests so that was a bit of a shame. Service was attentive, the girls serving seemed more distracted. We ordered fondue and Pierade, meat to cook on hot stone, kids loved this! Food was great as was house wine. Great success would have been perfect if we were in main part of restaurant.

“Fantastic value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 3, 2012

We stopped here for lunch on a day's visit to St Gervais a couple of weeks ago, having also eaten here in the summer. The €13 menu was fantastic - we both had goats cheese, a nicely cooked steak and lemon tart. The service was attentive and friendly, and on leaving the proprietor (who was obviously very busy) made time to chat and give us a glass of amoretto as we paid our bill.

We're currently in the process of buying a small apartment in St Gervais, this place is destined to become a local favourite - great value, lovely food and friendly service. Recommended.
