“Great for beginners and intermediate skiers”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

Extensive open areas of skiing great for on piste or developing off-piste skiers. Not many challenges for expert skiers. I stayed with Silver Ski at Chalet Boulevard, just above La Plagne centre. Real ski in ski out location. 4 steps from the piste and superbly catered by Megan.

“Chalet Joly, Plagne Villages, La Plagne”
Reviewed February 14, 2013

The chalet is convenient to the slopes and facilities, it is adequately sized and is run by Skiworld for 12 people. The individual bedroom and bathroom heating seems to work on the arrival day but not after that, even when no other appliances are being used.

The chalet host is a mature chap, Robin, he is a good chalet cook and works to the set skiworld weekly menu.

However, a HUGE problem is that he starts cooking the evening meal at 5.30 am every morning filling the chalet with the smell of onions and garlic, except in the double room in the basement.

Robin is very helpful with his local piste knowledge and will even ski with the guests.
He is a friendly chap and very set in his time regime.

“Paradiski is just great!!”
Reviewed February 13, 2013

just returned from a great week of skiing in the paradiski area. We stayed in les coches which is just in the middle. Don’t expect a lot of après ski, however we are there to ski and this is just great in this marvelous area. There are many options for every kind of skier. We liked the les Arcs side a bit more compared to the the la Plagne side, mainly because when we stayed it was colder and there was more wind on the la Plagne side. In the lower areas: les coches/ montchavcin/ vallandry there are many nice runs through the woods.
So if you like a big area with lot of different options and like good skiing this is a very nice area.

“Great Piste”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

Great runs and piste, lots of long blues BUT dont go for the night life, very spread out and difficult to travel between villages with no central hub to rival true apres resorts - good for a quiet one to practice your skiing
