My family stayed here for a week in April. We have been to Avoriaz before, but stayed in different accommodation, so were therefore familiar with the area. We were met by the resort reps. of the letting agency who helped us with our luggage and showed us to the villa. The reps. were a very nice young couple, they showed us around the villa and gave us all the information we needed and also came back the next day to check if we had any problems. Everything was fine and they left us their mobile nos. in case of any problems. The villa has 3 levels, with the master bedroom on the top floor and the other two bedrooms on the lower ground floor. The ground floor consists of the living/dining area and the kitchen area. The kitchen was very well furnished with cooking equipment and crockery which is ideal if you are making any meals in the villa. The furnishings and furniture were of a very high standard and everything was very clean and comfortable. There were little extras, such as books and games available to use. There were five of us in all staying in the villa and although it can sleep more I did feel that any more people in the communal areas of the villa would have been rather cramped.
The views from the windows are lovely, and at that time of year it was nice to sit outside the back of the villa and get some sun.
It is located in close proximity to a baker's shop, which is great for fresh bread,
croissants etc in the mornings (though not cheap) and also a supermarket and
restaurants. It is also well place for getting on to the slopes.
The company who deal with the letting of the villa were very good and kept me informed on all areas of the booking. We also booked our transfer through them.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking of going to Avoriaz and would stay there again.
