We enjoyed local dishes well prepared. Service was good and friendly without being obtrusive. Would recommend

As other diners have remarked, the food here is very good. One small complaint was that the prawn risotto was served with shell-on prawns which resulted in disagreeably messy fingers.

The bigger complaint was the service: we arrIved for lunch to a mostly empty restaurant, asked to sit on the also empty terrace only to be told by the male waiter that it wasn't possible as there were no umbrellas (this despite several being visible from the door). Luckily the owner was present and with a greater degree of customer focus seated us as requested. A further request for a simple menu modification was answered with a flat "no", something which, unfortunately, is a standard customer response in these parts. Too many employees in service industries seem to see customers as an annoyance to be tolerated rather than the source of their income! It never fails to take the shine off the experience

We enjoyed a very nice meal here again. Good ingredients cooked very well indeed.

Very enjoyable place for a family lunch.

The only downside was the slightly grating service by the French waiter who seemed to be more than a little inattentive and reluctant to accommodate reasonable requests. It was little things like not clearing wine glasses from the kids place settings for the duration of the meal & asking the kids if they wanted ketchup or mayo while they were ordering (why not just bring some ketchup and mayo when the food is served). Strangely inattentive - odd given the restaurant was very quiet.

I should stress the service was a minor irritation - we all enjoyed the meal very, very much and will return again. No hesitation at all in recommending this place for a reasonably priced, most enjoyable lunch.

The owners Sally and Yves are wonderfull hosts and the food is fresh and very tasty in beautiful presentation. Since 1 month now the restaurant is open every day except monday tuesday and saturday not for lunch.
They have a new formula weekday lunch at 13.50€ and evening formula at 17.50€ and of course you can eat a la carte or choose a menu at 26 €. We are advising all our guests to go and dine at the Clos du Pins, as they can even go by foot being only 5 minutes away from our bed 7 breakfast: Le Mas Shabanou

Stayed in Roqufort-le-PINS in May 2012. The food was of a very high standard with excellent service. The restaurant has a lovely warmth to it along with an equally warm welcome from the hosts.
The fish seleection was absolutely beautiful and as for the amazing melt in the middle chocolate pudding for dessert well.......

Not too pricey 160euros for 4 adults with wine/aperitifs...needless to say we went back a second time with equal satisfaction!
