If you like your stay to be in the countryside and not far from calais. Then this place is for you. The family room is good yet basic and as mentioned by others the restaurant is a must. The fixed menu is great value as the portions are huge but the quality is superb. All round good value with a great staff adding to the whole experience.

Stayed here for 1 night en route to home form holiday.Excellent location as a stop off. We were in a chalet room which was large but a bit dark and quite old fashioned furnishing/colour scheme. No tea/coffee making facilitiy in the room which would have been good.Bathroom quite small but toilet seperate. Shower cubicle not full bath.Shower head was broken but fixed when reported.Booked demi pension and ate in the lovely conservatory restaurant with a view down to St Omer and Mont Castel.Good choice on the menu and food excellent. Good private ,safe parking. Would stay again but ask specifically for a room in the main hotel (only 6 I believe).

Room Tip: Ask for main hotel room

Good place for one night stay and close to motorway. We have stayed here on the odd occasion for almost 20 years and not been disappointed. Comfortable and quiet rooms and excellent restaurant and choice of menus. Friendly service. Nice view from restaurant and from patio overlooking St. Omer in the distance.

Ideal for a one night stay, either just passing through as it is within half an hour of the tunnel, or as a destination for its superb French food. There is a choice of different priced fixed menus or a la carte.
Breakfast is continental style help yourself. Nice croissants!

We've been staying at this hotel for over 12 years now and still absolutely love it. The rooms are are spotless and spacious. Request a chalet room for quiet and privacy. Make sure you eat in the restaurant, the food is fantastic.

Visited France for the weekend from London.
The food in the hotel's restaurant was extremely good - snails, duck & creme brûlée.
The interior rooms were not anything special although I did enjoy the sleep - either really tired or the mattress was great!
Pick room 16 as there is a single bed in addition to the double bed, also a little seating area. Also it's on the 2nd floor - my friends were staying under my room and said could hear every step I made. I did not hear them.
The restaurant was packed with people (not all guests) so would be smart to book a table.

I was somewhat trepidatious deciding to stay at this hotel. As it turned out, the real saving grace was the food which was spectacular. The rooms were very second rate and the plumbing looked as if it had been done by a blind man. The restaurant was very good with excellent views etc. For the price you would be better staying elsewhere and just visiting the restaurant. The walls of the rooms were paper thin!!

Anyway, a good stay all the same
