We were taken to this lovely restaurant just before Christmas by my sister and her husband. We loved the food and the friendliness of the staff. Would love to eat here again when visiting St Omer. Try the Ox Cheeks they are wonderful.

I booked here because every restaurant above it on the list was closed on a Monday night. It was chilly and over bright...only two other groups there, and on first sight if I hadn't booked we would have gone elsewhere (others were open). The food was very mediocre. We ate from the 27 euro menu and felt seriously cheated...foie gras served in a plastic pot surrounded by a stale garnish, and not genuine foie gras. Magret de canard tough with soggy skin, vegetables plain boiled and not seasoned, gravy clearly from a stock cube. Dessert was nougat glace, clearly bought in and served with the whipped shaving-type cream the French love so much. Oh, and bread was a soft floppy white roll.
Seriously, don't go, unless a chef who knows how to cook takes over on other nights!

Every year we visit France for a Christmas shopping weekend and each time we visit St Omer just so we can dine at Le P'tit Montmartre. We have now eaten there four years in a row and every evening was perfect.

The food is of the highest quality and the service is friendly and efficient but the most remarkable thing is the cost - their excellent three-course menu comes in at just 16 euros, about what you woould expect to pay for just a main course in other restaurants of a similar high standard.

We are already looking forward to next year when we can enjoy another great meal in this charming restaurant.

We spent a rainy day in St Omer but we do not regret having visited this beautiful town because we've had a wonderful meal in this lovely restaurant.
We were initially tempted to go to this restaurant because of the good reviews on tripadvisor and because of the reasonably priced menus. However, once inside, we've opted for a meal à la carte. We had the "cooking pot of mixed fishes and scallops" and the "duck breast". Both dishes were very well presented and the portions were very generous. Special mention also for the mouthwatering soft rolls which were served with the meal. The desert was excellent as well, we had the Le Café Audomarois (several little cakes, coffee and a local digestive), iced nougat and chocolate cake.
The staff was very friendly and paid attention to detail. The entire meal was perfectly timed and special attention was given to our 6-year old.

My wife and I had two evening meals here at the start and end of our holiday. Both times we were very pleased with the quality and presentation of the food. The service was very friendly but the restaurant remains very "French", even to foreign tourists.
