We tried BoneFish as the last of BDA's Restaurant Week $30 'fixed price' menues before this wonderful offering ended Feb. 16th. We'd heard Bonefish had great food and was a nice restaurant 'but for their prices'. With price not being a deterent my husband ordered the wonderful calimari for a starter w/ fish n chips entree and rumcake for dessert. i had a teriyaki beef (?) salad as 'starter', garlic potatoes and a chicken dish 'main', and apple pie for desert. the service was excellent and attentive, yet not 'officious' , and it was nice to have the chef bring the hot entrees to the table. i was about to rank this restaurant as 'good for special occassions' when a large group of kids ducked in (10-15 years old?) who were either unattended or belonged to the 'yachtees' anchored at dockyard. their noise at the bar area made talking in the far side of the dining room difficult and i could well imagine when the dockyard is full of tourists w/ spoiled children being the same. we asked for leftovers 'to go' and dashed out in to the rainy night rather than being held captive for more. I'd been about to rate Bonefish as second best of the four restaurants we tried over Restaurant month but having seen the high-priced normal menu we'll make other more intimate Sandys' restuarants our destination in future.
