Tried the fish sandwich. Very good. Friendly staff, a nice British feel. Had a shanty. Beer and lemonade. Haven't had one of those since london over 10 years ago. Not cheap, however, nothing in bermuda is cheap. Eat outside.

A great find! We had some amazing local fish with the best Dark and Stormy on the island. Throw in some local flair (like Sticks) and you have a unique experience. Reasonably priced and a lot of laughs with the owner,Basil ( a real legend) and Leslie our bartender.

The food was average, but we ate it all. The beer was nice and cold on a hot and sticky day. The service was friendly and speedy. All in all, a decent place to stop for a simple meal. We ate on the covered outside patio which is comfortable and affords a nice view of Mangrove Bay. We ordered a burger and fries and fish and chips - ingredients seemed fresh and the price was moderate. Somerset village was an easy stroll from our room at Cambridge Beaches, and the Country Squire is a nice change from the more formal dining options at the hotel. Would not hesitate to stop here again in the future.

The food is good but eat outside if you can. The inside can be dark and although some may think this is atmosphere I think it a shame not to experience Bermuda

...the Somerset arguing and drinking club - got sick of touristy Dock Yard at the end of the scooter ride, so we backtracked to this place. Sat at the outside bar, had decent fish chowder, fish and chips, fosters draft. The locals were a scream. Taught me how to add black rum to the fish chowder to kill some of the heat, tasted a shandy, laughed about everything. No stuck up, snobby patrons, just nice and funny local folks stopping in for a few cold ones after work. The most memorable afternoon of the cruise.
