We had a Boston Whaler reserved for a Friday afternoon in mid September. Received a phone call that morning from Tony, the owner, that there was a thunderstorm watch for the afternoon even though the weather forecast made no indication of this. We re-scheduled for the following day and we are so glad that we did as a major storm came through with gale force winds. Can't thank Tony enough for looking out for our best interests. We have rented a Boston Whaler there for a few years now and can't say enough good things about the operation and the staff there.

There is a reason Somerset Bridge Watersports is the #1 attraction in Bermuda. We rented a 13' Boston Whaler for six hours and had absolutely the best excursion of our twenty cruises. Tony and his staff are knowledgeable, courteous, and personable. The marina was easy to reach from King's Wharf (a short but interesting bus ride). We were given verbal instructions regarding the operation of the boat and provided with the same written information as well as maps of the area that were laminated and secured to the boat itself. They also provided a cooler with ice for the picnic lunch we purchased next door at the gas station, and a small item that became the source of the most fun we have ever had on an excursion - a loaf of bread. We rode out to the wreck of the Vixen and fed fish - hundreds of large and very active, appreciative fish. Later we stopped at an island for our picnic lunch and hand-fed smaller fish from the water. The views of Bermuda from the water were gorgeous, the sun and the water were the perfect temperatures, and the freedom of taking the boat where we chose instead of following a guide in a group added up to the best day ever. This was the highlight of our cruise to Bermuda, and we definitely plan to return and repeat the experience.

If you feel the need for speed, this is the excursion for you. Our guide took us to an area where we fed tons of fish and we drove by several points of interest. We had a blast!!

Our guide, Richard, was fantastic. Really knowledgable and funny. Incredibly aware of safety limits, but able to give everyone a completely individual experience. The people in our group (6 was the largest group allowed I believe) ranged in experience from complete beginner to very experienced and somehow, Richard managed to keep us all together, at whatever speed we were comfortable with and nobody had to wait, catch up, or worry for a second.

Excellent day - will definitely make a habit of this
