Nice area to brouse around. Craft shops and a nice pub for lunch. The museum is well worth a visit.... also you can watch the dolphins in there for free.

“Historic place to Shop & Eat”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

The dockyard is a nice area to walk around. There are lots of shops and a few places to eat. The shops close fairly early, around 6. It also serves as a cruise ship port.

“nice enough”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

They have done a nice job turning the old buildings into an intesting cruiseship port area. It's a nice place to walk around for a bit. The sense of history helps make you feel like you're not just wandering around a massive tourist area (even though you pretty much are). If you are staying at a hotel elsewhere in Bermuda, it's probably worth a trip up to check it out, but I would think a few hours would be enough time.

“Shopping and Eating”

Easy to get around. Lot's to see, do and eat! We were docked there for three days on the NCL Star. Great stop!

“Very Historical Area to Shop”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

Loved walking around the Royal Naval Dockyard. Amazing that it was built in the late 1700's. Shops are good, especailly the Bermuda Glassworks and Rumcake Factory. Both are very popular. I also liked the Bermuda Crafts area. Nice locally made items there too.
