We just spent a week at CB and loved it. We did stay in an ocean-view suite that was very nice and did not exhibit any of the problems mentioned in other reviews. It was expensive, though. But the quality of the room and the views made us feel it was worth the price. We also had a very good experience with staff and service in general.
We did have a little trouble ordering wine one night at Shutters. It was a buffet, to which we helped ourselves, but the waiter did not check back with us after giving us the wine list. He was covering too many tables including one or two "beach dining" tables, and he had trouble making it down to our end of the retaurant often enough. We could have been more agressive in getting his attention or just gone up to the bar ourselves, but we didn't (and should not have had to do this).
The housekeeping and food service staff were great about bringing things to the room when needed. The included breakfast buffet was excellent.
We had no problem with check-in or check-out, and the hotel-arranged taxis were there to pick us up at the correct times.
The views from all three restaurants and our suite were fantastic. Overall a very memorable vacation.
