We arrived on Labour Day weekend, so we got to see what things are like when the hotel is understaffed. During our stay, hurricane Katia passed nearby, so we also got to see what things were like in not-so-good weather. In spite of these challenges, Tucker's Point managed to exceed our expectations. The property is absolutely breathtaking with a beautiful view in every direction. The larger infinity pool was convenient to restaurants and spa, while the private pool (we had our own cabana) was quiet and looks out over the spectacular blue water of Castle Harbour. Occasionally someone would come by with a scented cool towel or chilled fruit. We never had to wait for the beach shuttle (which also takes you to the golf club and the bus stop for trips to Hamilton, Dockyard, or St. George). The beach itself is beautiful and our attendant Meshach set us up with umbrellas and lounge chairs on the beach or by another infinity pool. All I had to do was raise a flag to get a drink or food delivered. Our room was large, with a fantastic bathroom, and an umbrella and butterfly net waiting when we walked in. The terrace was great for alfresco dining and had a nice daybed for afternoon naps in the shade. Food was good at all the restaurants, and the beach club especially nice for a light lunch or romantic dinner. We also enjoyed lunch at the golf club, and a nice buffet breakfast and elegant dinner at the Point. When the weather was less than perfect, board games appeared at Tucker's Bar.
If I had to pick on something, it would be that occasionally the waiters disappeared when you needed them most, and over Labour Day there was a little algae in the pool. As soon as the full staff returned, it was gone. All in all, a wonderful hotel and a perfect honeymoon.

Room Tip: The rooms with the private cabana are a wonderful indulgence, but the private pool was never crowded...

After a lot of reading of reviews and scanning websites, we decided to make Tucker's Point our hotel of choice for a quick 3 day visit to Bermuda and we could not have been happier!!! Just moments from the airport, the hotel is truly a gem and unique space. We were upgraded to a cottage upon arrival and then spent the next 20 minutes or so just gawking at the pools and beautiful manicured lawns and water. Our cottage was terrific, beautiful terrace with couch and table overlooking the ocean. Great bathroom with soaking tub (!) and huge shower. It is a bit of a walk down many stairs to get to the cottages, so be sure you use the bellhop for your luggage!

The pools are all beautiful and we had a wonderful day spent at the beach club. Great food at the beach club and a very peaceful relaxed atmosphere. Nights spent at the bar at The Point were fun and full of great company and great drinks! Also enjoyed some terrific spa treatments. The concierge was tremendously helpful with restaurant recommendations and cabs etc. Everyone also in such good spirits!

We go to Bermuda to live in our bathing suits and go to the beach. At Tuckers Point Beach Club you can sit on the beach and have drinks, lunch and dinner brought to your chair. We spent a week with our four children, their spouses and friends. Some nights we would eat in our villa, others at the beach restaurant overlooking the South Shore and one night we would dress up and go to the Point Restaurant in the Tuckers Point Hotel.

The bar is a throwback to a more elegant time. Leather chairs, dark cedar walls, old trophies and colorful sports prints decorate the room. The dining room walls are covered in wall paper taken from the Pan Am building in New York depicting the great ancient harbors of the world. The chairs are so comfortable you could sleep in them. The food and service are extraordinary.

You might think it expensive, but put in the category of the finest New York Restuarants, it's a bargain and for three hours it takes you to another beautiful world.

The resort's website pics and descriptions are accurate. The grounds are so beautiful and lush. Be sure to bring something to record the nightly relaxing singing of the tree frogs if you come in the spring to fall. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Our more basic Superior Room was wonderful, with a stocked mini-fridge, in-room safe, a big bathroom (2 person tub and walk-in shower), big comfy king bed, and a good size balcony facing Harrington Sound.
Both of the pools on the grounds are really nice and open 24 hrs. If you use them in the evening, you'll likely have them mostly to yourself. There is a great fitness area w/ newer machines as well as a dry sauna in the men's and women's lockers.
The private beach, a short tram ride from the hotel, is clean and not overcrowded like some of the public beaches can get. They offer chairs as well as umbrellas. As there is a restaurant and bar at the beach, it's great to have a cocktail brought to your lounge chair.
We didn't use the spa or play golf, so I can't speak to that part of the resort.

Tip 1 - Don't pay for the $100 round trip prearranged airport transport. The resort is just on the other side of the bay from the airport, only a $15-20 cab ride.
Tip 2 - Because they are often fully booked, they are likely to be strict about not letting you check in until 3pm. If you arrive early, though, you can still use the tram to go to the private beach and beach restaurant for a drink or meal while you wait.
Tip 3 - Be aware the Rt 1 bus that stops at the resort shuts down around 5pm, so be prepared to pay for a taxi if you want to go to anywhere off site for dinner.

The food is so average I wouldn’t recommend to stay at the hotel service and food are so bad, everything is executed in the less effort manner, the main dining room where Jacket is required is decorated in a fake English colonial style, very cheaply done, the food is executed with such laziness, it is unbelievable for a 5 star hotel to have such average quality. The breakfast buffet is just bad, average products terrible pastries that are all soft and not fresh, eggs are full of fat and you pay an average of $40.00 per person for that. Club sandwich they just bother putting a slice of American cheese and turkey. When you call room service no one’s answers you have to leave your name and room number and no one calls you back. Why pay top $ for such a place

We spent a weekend at Tucker's point to round off a wonderful holiday in Bermuda visiting family. What a treat. Due to a last minute booking we had to move rooms on the second night which we didn't mind at all because all the rooms are so spacious and luxurious. I couldn't fault a single thing. The architect cleverly arranged that each room has a private balcony with a view.
We had dinner the first night in the Pergola Terrace Restaurant which wasn't such a great experience but the Beach Club Restaurant was lovely. The staff were friendly and efficient and room service was excellent. I must mention the doorman at the hotel in his pink pith helmet who greeted us with such warmth and humour each time we used the shuttle - what a character!
We loved Bermuda. We spent 10 days on the island and it just wasn't long enough to visit all the lovely restaurants and beaches. Everything looks so clean and fresh - the houses all painted lovely colours with white rooves. It is so easy to catch the bus and get around the island and we felt so safe. Tucker's Point will be top of the list on our next visit.

Great hotel, superb, though challenging golf course, beautiful restaurant (The Point), nice and cozy bar, stunning Beach Club. A perfect family (golf) vacation destination.

Had dinner at the Beach and the first course was a daring combination of beef tongue and lobster - a culinary delight and the main course featured some of the best duck ever. Very reasonably priced drinks at the bar and wine list.
