I have been traveling to Bermuda for 20 years now and am set to return again in May 2014. From the very first time I visited Bermuda, my friends and I went to Tom Moore's Tavern In Harrington Sound for dinner. The restaurant has one of the best menus and comfortable dining rooms I have ever experienced. I believe it is also the oldest restaurant in Bermuda, founded in 1659 and located just before you get to the bridge that takes you around to St. George's. The menu is fantastic, with my personal favorite being roasted quail with vegetables and side dishes. The wine selection is great, as is the dessert menu, which boasts a fresh Chocolate Souffle that is out of this world! Just be certain to order it early as it takes 20 minutes to prepare. The Director is a great guy named Bruno Fiocca, who has been there every time I've visited. He and his entire staff go out of their way to make certain your dining experience is the best. The dining room itself is very cozy, with a fireplace and is a perfect setting for a fabulous dining experience. I would recommend Tom Moore's Tavern to anyone and everyone who visits Bermuda. Not to be missed!
