While on a 25th anniversary trip to Bermuda, we dined at this wonderful out of the way spot. Having been to Bermuda many times, we now regret never having eaten here before. Service was uber attentive, pleasant and friendly. The concierge staff from our hotel (Fairmont Southampton-absolutely great) highly recommended this spot and told us the host Bruno was actually the former host at the Newport Room. This gentleman is very dynamic, attentive and wants to be sure you enjoy your dining experience at Tom Moore's. Atmosphere is very romantic. Our food was outstanding-without a doubt one of the best meals we've eaten in Bermuda or anywhere. Appetizer was delicious-smoked salmon. My entrée was a salmon with a citrus broth that was so complex (had several Mediterranean components like orange, olive, something spicy) and delicious I can't quite describe it-and I could not stop eating it. Husband's potato crusted rockfish entrée was so delicious I wished I could eat both! We ended the meal with a melt in your mouth chocolate soufflé with crème Anglaise that was so rich it was perfect for sharing. Amazing! Truly some of the best food I've EVER eaten anywhere. The final pleasant surprise- the bill was quite reasonable, especially by Bermuda standards. You just can't miss this place. Run, do not walk, to Tom Moore's Tavern.
