I have been to this particular Baton Rouge twice, over a 3 year period.
Other Baton Rouge restaurants are many levels above this one. After a bad experience a couple of years ago, we decided to give it another try.
The food was cold. It also looked like garbage. Absolutely no look to the dish - I decorate my everyday dinners better, at home. It looked like they just threw that piece of meat on the plate as well as some potatoes, and out it goes.
I ordered pineapple juice, and did not expect that after paying $4 for a glass, I would get some cheap canned version of what they tried to call juice. Completely unacceptable for the level of the restaurant they are trying to be.
My dish was not only cold, but completely disgusting. I could not eat the meat at all, had some fries (which taste better at most cheap fast-food places). I asked for ketchup for the fries, and what they brought to me was a little metal cup with ketchup, which was frozen. I was barely even able to move the surface of it with a fork. How difficult is it to pour some ketchup in that metal cup at the time of order? It was obviously pre-poured and sat in the fridge or probably the freezer for a while. So much for the "made freshly to order" motto that they try to carry.
Never again are we going there. I do not recommend this particular restaurant. We have been to many other Baton Rouge restaurants, which where amazing, but this one is beyond disappointing and horrible. and expensive.
