“Average Food but Good Value”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

This is a basic little restaurant, more geared to the take-out business than the eat-in. Very cheerful service, but plated meals are fairly basic, although fish has always been well cooked and fresh.
Convenient if you live in Ladner, even worth a trip from Tsawwasen, but there is no ambience and certainly no frills with the food. Prices are reasonable and the restaurant has daily specials. Closes fairly early in the evening.

“Very good fish and chips in a location you wouldn't know about unless someone told you.”
Reviewed September 29, 2013 via mobile

You think of good fish and chip joints (if there are such a thing) as being near the water in White Rock or Stevenson but not always. This little out of the way spot in downtown Ladner is worth a visit. Fish is fresh off the dock, batter light and chips cooked to perfection. Generous portions and not too expensive. Coming home from the ferry facing rush hour traffic at the tunnel, its a good place to stop. Will be back.

“Bland”
Reviewed September 16, 2013 via mobile

Food was ok but bland. Chips over cooked. Based on the reviews I expected better but just never happened.

Fish and chips are pretty simple so if take out is an option, do it.

“Great Fish and Chips!”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

This is a great little place in the village of Ladner. Well worth the trip, even if you don't live here. The fish and chips are excellent and there is such a great choice of menu items to choose from. The staff are wonderful and if you Facebook message them they will keep a table waiting for you when you plan on arriving. A good idea as it is not a very large restaurant. Well done Chungs!

“Fish and Chips have returned to Ladner!”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

Thanks .... For bringing back fish and chips to a historical fishing community. I had cod with chips, onion rings and my wife had, and has had, your hallibut with chips. A slightly seasoned thin batter with good sized portions presents well and tastes delicious. We enjoyed the fish but the fries were too much to eat at one go. The onion rings complemented the meal. We are pleased these items are not greasy. They seem to keep the location very clean and the preparation area is spotless. The tartar sauce and Cole slaw are very small portions. We will return!
