“Very Best Chai Latte”
Reviewed October 6, 2011

This is a wonderful cafe especially on a sunny day. Go for a walk along the river and stop for a bite and a Chai latte. My favorite is the Chai but everyone said their other beverages were great to. The food is fresh, portions generous and the sweets are delicious.

“Great spot for coffee or a quick lunch.”
Reviewed August 27, 2011

This is a cute little spot that is part of a new subdivision's small commercial square. The walls are made up of garage doors so it can be opened up to the square in nice weather. Because it was kind of grey the day we went, only one side of the building was open to the outdoors but it made the tiny space feel much more expansive. There were a few tables outside but it was too chilly for us to sit out there with a breeze coming off the river.

We had panini's from the small menu of already made (just waiting to be grilled) sandwiches. Mine was tomato and basil and a balsamic reduction with lots of cheese on a fresh focaccia bun. It was gooey and delicious. My partner had a roast beef and blue cheese that he said was very good. My mocha was well made and served carefully in a latte cup as was his canadiano. The service was good despite the fact that we came in with a small crowd of other people which threatened to overwhelm the panini grill and the single employee. She was friendly and helpful and not at all put out by the sudden flurry of hungry and thirsty people in her small shop.

There were a number of lovely looking sweets from a local baker named Sweet Thea which I have to try next time. Can't wait to go back and sit outside on a sunny day.
