“A very special restaurant, fit for a King”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2011

Firstly, Aranjuez has a fine Royal Palace that you must visit. This restaurant is located next to a river in the original grounds of the palace. The grounds now make up a relaxing park, wooded and formal gardens. The restaurant is described as a castle and it is in a Spanish Castle Keep style.
You can access the restaurant through the park, or from its car park, over the river connected by a small modern stone bridge (good for wheelchairs etc).
I have eaten here at dinner and lunch and can say without resevation, the service is 5 star and the food also.
Grand spanish meat based dishes abound, suckling pig and lamb, beef wellington, cooked to a turn. An extensive wine list. I didn't have space for a dessert, so I can't comment.
Toilets are nice modern and clean.
