The “Mastihato”. a chicken fillet served in a “kadaifi” pastry nest with Chios mastic sauce and bacon, is the best cooked dish I've had this year. The kadaifi is to die for as is the sauce. The only gripe I'd have is that they could have put just a little more sauce on the whole thing. Not a taste for everyone, apparently, but you can't really taste the mastic, it's not overbearing, and it is just divine.

The vegetable millefeuille is not a millefeuille at all: no pastry, just cheese and veggies. Interesting, but not stupendous. My friend had a huge steak, was very happy.

Bread excellent, wine very good, great tsikoudia offered, and outstanding watermelon and melon.

Lovely outside seating. Good service.

We absolutely loved our dinner here - the quirky decor added atmosphere to a great evening. We had the 7-course menu recommended by the chefs - each course was fantastic!!!

If you don't want to pay high hotel food prices, like Hotel Grand Britagne, but want excellent food, this is the place to go. It's just around the corner from GB. There's some construction around there right now but they are open.

I'm not a salad person, but their tzatziki salad had me eating my greens. We went back the next day to try their other dishes. Besides the tzatziki, their souvlaki (we tried all the meat) and seafood with orzo was excellent.

At the beginning of the meal, they give you bread, olives and a shot of some type of grappa.

Atmosphere is modern-quaint, non-pretentious. A nice place to relax and eat after a day of touring the Acropolis.

This appears to be a popular choice for Greeks and tourists alike. Our food was delicious. We enjoyed a cold tomato soup with basil oil, and a trilogy of grilled mushrooms in white balsamic, honey and thyme for starters. There are interesting choices to be had. A delicious rabbit dish was served on a bed of frumenty. Lamb souvlaki came with tamboula salad. Service was pleasant enough, but a bit offhand. Also, our mains were delivered to the table while we were still eating our starters, and this shouldn't happen. Excellent food, and good value at €46 for two, including drinks.
