Food is nice. Chef has some good ideas and must admit that everything was well cooked. Service was not good and you always had the idea that u are very privileged to be there, that they were doing you a favor. Not bad in general.

you feel very welcomed by the staff. good knowledge of the catalog. As starters they treat you nice roasted bread with olive oil -simple but always tasty!-, and a nice welcome soup. for the end, they treat you chocolate jelly, which personally i didn't like, but it;s a nice move. very tasty food, nice fresh french fries. cozy people around age of 38.

We went after friends' suggestions. The place is cozy, there is outdoor seating, and excellent and welcoming service.
The menu is compact something good for a restaurant like this. Inspirational and creative plates, high plate quality and tasteful dishes.
There is a balanced drinks menu but it is a little bit overpriced for what we call 'new age tavern'.

Interesting menu,  expensive winelist

Cold tomato gaspazo, warm brown bread with black and green olives, a big spinach salad, complex and delicious

Too much salt everywhere and they bring you some extra as well... Please show some mercy...!

Thin potato skins mixed with onion was a flat oily dish. Some thinly sliced ginger fried the same way could possibly enhance the flavor (just an idea..)

Octopus for main well cooked with herbs overpowering the dish

Been at Psomi kai Alati about 4 times, first one was almost 3 years ago, love at first sight, Greek taste and flavors at its best, but something started to faint....
went again after 6 months... personnel had an attitude that should look our wallet prior to our reservation or perform a face control. Fortunately some of them are still behave in a professional manner.
I remember that i had a reservation 1 year ago and 2 hours before the arrival to the restaurant my daughter got sick and we had to cancel it. Called them, said that we couldn't get there but in order to make up, requested a table for the next day. The answer at the other side of the phone was ''if you decide that you are ok and you are sure about your reservation, maybe you can come, i won't reserve the table, call me tomorrow!!!!
I promised myself not to go again ever but a friend of mine convinced me on a Saturday evening to go for something quick so i did.Thank God staff this time did everything good.
overall its quite expensive for bits and bites food.
try fava and the stuffed vine leafs.
