“I live here! it's wonderful to live here”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

I live in Glyfada, I feel lucky to live here, actually there are 4 beaches, and hotesl close to them. I have put 3 stars, although very nice, there are no chairs, bars, and, the fact that is free of charge, make the area accessible to anyone, I would recommend to paya a fee of 4-10E and go to Voula, Vouliagmeni, Astir beach, I was also surprised you missed Kavouri in Vouliagmeni as the view, and restaurants are gorgeous

“Much Improved!!”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

I lived in the Glyfada Greece area 5 years ago and this beach was in much need of a cleanup. I visited last year and have just returned again and am happy to see that it has been really cleaned up and a really enjoyable place to spend time at the beach if you happen to be in this area. By far not the best beach in Greece!!! But, again, it is now cleaned up and swimming is a lot better and no garbage, quite pleasant indeed! Also, a few tavernas close by and several hotels.

“Great day at the beach!”
Reviewed April 8, 2013 via mobile

Glyfada beach was a lot of fun to visit. They have deck chairs available to rent for the day, only 3 Euro in April. As long as the sun stays out, unfortunately after an hour or so the sun went away and the wind came which made it very cold!

“Excellent beach, with easy access to both tram and bus”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

The beach was clean, no "beach boys" bothering tourists, with plenty of nice restaurants.
The beach is accessible by tram (coastal lines, green and blue) and a short walk from the Glyfada bus stops).

“Splurge and Treat Yourself”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

For those you can't get out of the city this is one of the more cleaner city locations with lots of cafes, eateries and shops. Coffee in this part of town is pricey but if you want to treat yourself to nice food then Glyfada will satisfy your senses.
