Clear waters, awesome for a swim, for relaxation or simply for hanging out with a beach tavern and restaurant. 4 Euros charge for the access.

This beach was walking distance from our hotel and free, BUT was rocky and very dirty--litter and cigarette butts everywhere! The kids swam, but water was murky. The vendors selling stuff were UNBELIEVABLE--from sunglasses to dresses to umbrellas or food. They were difficult to shoo away. :( There were no chairs or umbrellas to rent on the beach either so we laid our towels on the rocks and garbage. Yuck.

So I would normally not go near a beach right on a harbour like the beach in Glyfada that is near my hotel (Four Seasons) but this one was pretty clean. I liked that it was a family beach and that there were nearby newspaper stands selling drinks and snacks. The water was very clear and surprisingly cool for July in Greece. I did not like the vendors walking long the beach. The beach and sea floor were very rocky. I was impressed for it being pretty much in a harbour and the sunsets were amazing however it was just average as a beach in general.
