“The best chicken and beef shish kebab in Attiki - no doubt”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

We have visitied this place close to 10 times already and everytime the deliciousness of the food keeps surprise us, again and again. Literally, the tenderness of beef shish kebab and also chicken shish kebab will BLOW YOU AWAY. They have also great choice of appetizers for every kind of possible taste there is.

I am not over-selling it, GO!, give it a try and you'll see that this experience of taste can't be put into words.

Highly recommended.

“A welcome escape from the usual Greek taverna food”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

Yes, the decor is dated but the food is excellent and the tastes varied and wonderful. Anyone who likes the tastes of cuisines to the east of Greece will love Serkos. I was there last night with relatives from England at the end of a week's visit and they wished they'd been to Serkos every day instead of just once. Alyn, the owner's daughter, is delightful and the service is a big step above the usual Greek experience. The Armenian cuisine, plenty of aubergines (egg plant), yoghurt and good flavours, comes with the usual middle eastern influence and all the meat dishes were perfectly cooked and delicious. Good house wine, both red and white, easy parking (the restaurant is on a quiet square) and reasonable cost, 20 Euros per head including tip. Mmmmm, my mouth is watering now.

“Just average”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

Serkos exists since about 1998. The good quality of the food has remained stable over the years. The culinary excitement remained also constantly moderate. The location is quite convenient, with a reasonable number of parking places in the vicinity - something not obvious for Glyfada. The portions are normal sized, the taste didn't reveal any highlights. The decoration is outdated and dull. House wine is fine and cheap. The staff is very welcoming and caring, probably the best asset of this restaurant.

“Best Armenian kebab place in Athens”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

Fine armenian food ... A huge variety of excelent starters (choose 5-6 ones like eggplant sauce, red or green lebanese salat, pastourma pies, grilled cheese...) and good quality kebabs ( the ones with lamb and cheese!!!) with good Kalamata tsipouro !!!!
Choose also saganaki with pastourma in a pot!!! Heavy but unforgettable!

Don't forget to finish with Kasan dibi and Kiunefe (take both) and have Greek coffee and ahududu liqueur made by them.

Go with many friends, occupy a table and enjoy yourselves for 3 hours ....!!!!

“A very nice surprise”
Reviewed June 30, 2012

Casual dining with very friendly service. Loved the blown bread, kibe, and yogurt based meat dishes. On the negative side prices are on the high side, not quite coresponding to the taverna setting, and location.
