We (family of 5) went on holiday to Greece in July and rented this villa in Thimari near Sounio. I have to say it exceeded our expectations- the set up of the house is very well thought out, from the mosquito mesh on every window / door down to the kitchen equipment provided to make the tenants stay very comfortable. The beds and mattreases are new and all of us had a week of very comfortable sleep. The shower area in the bathrooms was large and even the presure of the water was surprisingly powerful. There is air conditioning on both floors (didnt use it a lot as we were lucky the temperature for that time of year did not exceed the 36°C mark- to my surprise). There was a lot of space on both floors of the villa for all of us and even the outside area was very spacious. The bancony (on the upper floor) raps around the whole building and at the back of the house you get an amazing view of the sea. Speaking of the sea, don't bother looking around for beaches because one of the nicest ones (complete with its own little beach bar) is only a two minute drive away. Look for black umbrellas - the waitress even comes and takes your order- you must try the Greek fredo capuchino coffee......amazing. For those of you that have never tried this ice coffee in Greece its strong espresso with milk - i dont think you'll be going back to Starbucks for a cold coffee ever again after you try this. For good food near by you'll be spoiled for choice ....lots and lots of tavernas to choose from along the beach front and if you prefer to stay at home and cook your own (remember the villa has 2 kitchens to choose from), there is a local butchers in the nearby town 5 min away (oposite a playground) that sells really tasty food.
Last but not least the landlord is very friendly, accomodating and will make you feel welcome ( he just left us to it and we only contacted him when we needed something).
Really enjoyed it, highly recommend it and wish we could have stayed more than 1 week.
