“Pie to Die For”
Reviewed June 25, 2014

Like pie? The Emporium is a must! Located at 107 S. Tennessee Street in McKinney, Texas; the emporium has a selection of fruit and cream pies that are absolutely incredible. Pies are available by the slice or the whole pie. (Personally, I go for the whole pie and do not share.) Unique names for these delights are the hallmark of this establishment. Pies are baked fresh each day and you can even add ice cream to your favorite. With names like “Java the Hutt” (flaky all butter crust, toffee layer, topped with smooth espresso filling) my favorite, Drunken Nut (bourbon pecan with shortbread crust), and Lord of the Pies (deep dish apple pie with cinnamon streusel); how could you go wrong. New pie flavors rotate in regularly so there is always a new one to try.

“Pie heaven!”
Reviewed June 23, 2014

The presentation is almost better than the pie! We had chocolate and pecan and they were both delicious! Perfect after dinner or anytime sweet stop. Wish they had a few more selections and more indoor seating - humid Texas is not kind to outdoor cafe pie eaters...

“Heaven Found”
Reviewed May 25, 2014 via mobile

Wow what a find! The pies are just phenomenal. We had the Lemon Chiffon with a crushed Ginger Snap crust. The pie was like heavan it was so light and the fresh lemon flavor was stupendous. The other pie wa the "Lord of Pies" a deep dish apple pie made with cinnamon streusel and granny smith apples. If you love pie this place is the heaven of pie!!

“Scrump-deliumptious!”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

The Pie Emporium sells . . . pies. That's it (except for beverages to drink while eating pie!) They have, at any given time, 5-6 varieties of pies. Last time I went they had their famous Cloud Nine pie (the best I think I've ever eaten!), buttermilk, chocolate silk, their specialty apple pie and a coconut pie.

It was awesome. Go with someone so you can try two different kinds!
