The owners and cashiers are a bit cold, but the waitstaff is normally quite good. The food is good Italian--it's not high cuisine--it's like down-home Italian food served in a relaxed down-home atmosphere.
We have never had a poor dish, but the thin NY-style pizza is simply the best. Even just plain cheese is tasty with great smooth texture.
Prices are good. It's BYOB with no uncorking fee. And the service is generally prompt. When you've had enough of bland Italian chain restaurants (looking at you Olive Garden), this restaurant is like coming home to a warm favorite. We never leave disappointed.
