This is another successful restaurant in the downtown McKinney Square area. Just a block south of the square, parking is just as challenging as navigating this small restaurant.
I had never been to this place, and didn't know it was this small. We were meeting friends for a birthday party, and fortunately we arrived ahead of our group, and were able to place ourselves on the wait list. We knew it would take a while to seat the 15 of us, which grew to 20 by the time we left. There was another large party of 10 ahead of our seating.
We worked with the hostess and manager to start assembling tables with a minimum of 10 to start, then added tables in the row as other tables turned over. It took about an hour and half to get the majority of our group seated. Given the size of this place, they DID A GREAT JOB of taking care of our group.
We had more than one waitress helping out, and there wasn't even a problem having separate tabs. While waiting, we sat at the bar, watched how all the food was prepared in the wood oven, and enjoyed local taps and wine while enjoying an appetizer.
The food was top notch, and I definitely will bring back the family for a visit to this restaurant. Expect it to be crowded, and plan ahead to grab a seat. They have waiting areas on the front porch, a small bar area, and expect on the weekends for several tables to be removed to bring in the entertainment.
Great Place!!!! Worth the Wait.
