“Expensive for "fast food"”
Reviewed October 28, 2012 via mobile

Had a combo plate (beef fajita meat, crispy taco, enchilada, rice and beans). With a corona was almost $20! Was recommended by several locals. The food was good but the look and feel of the restaurant was fast food, so the bill seemed pricey compared to my expectation when I arrived.

Reviewed October 9, 2012

this is a restauran like a McDonald But for Tacos, the taste is very good, and they have like a buffet of spice salsa.

“A true Valley experience”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

If you're looking for genuine Tex-Mex food at a reasonable price, Taco Palenque is the place. In the local "taco wars," Taco Palenque usually rates in the top two for popularity. The menu features tacos and plate lunches along the continuum of Mexican food, including lengua and carnitas, as well as the usual beef and chicken. A self-serve station offers traditional house-made tortilla chips, and a buffet station in the center of the dining room includes a number of salsas. Yum!

“I love their FISH!!”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

If you are looking for really good Mexican food, a lively, fun, and LOUD atmosphere, live mariachi music and attentive service this is it. I absolutely love their fish dishes. The sauces are amazing and the portion is enormous. My hubby usually gets the bacon wrapped shrimp which are huge, too. The margaritas are great as well. A little on the pricey side and the noise level can be intense... but most Mexican food places are noisy... so, it comes with the territory.

“$30 for two for breakfast?????”
Reviewed September 11, 2012

Great food and speed but the prices are off the chart. You are first thrown a menu of over 50 items to chose from as there is no menu to look at in line. Then you just grab for something you recognize and then pay. And boy do you pay. No take your seat...OK it is really crowded. Now you get the food. It is really good...but is it worth $30 for two people? No.
