This library is huge! The children's section is quite large and seems to have plenty of shelves to "grow." The boys always gravitate to the dinosaur books and always seem to find something to please them. There is a self check out in the kids section and it is quite easy to operate. Simply scan your card and stack all the books on the sensor pad. I am not pleased with the dvd/cd (in the kids section that is) selections and the organization of these items. They are not alphabetized and we can never find anything we are looking for. Aside from that, the library offers plenty of books and areas to kick back and read or study. There's a cozy teen's corner... a large computer room to access a computer... and plenty of media options for adults. The library also has a great number of kids activities on a regular basis so make sure to go online and look at their calendar. We visit this library on occasion but prefer to visit the Lark branch any day... it's smaller (cozier) and they offer a wonderful story time for little ones on most Monday and Wednesday mornings.
