“What A Find!!!”
Reviewed August 18, 2012

I heard about Roosevelt's from a local while sitting at the bar @ BJ's. This place is a treasure; they have 30+ taps of carefully selected beer. I'm a beer snob, so finding such a rich array of offerings in the Rio Valley was like going to Mecca. Their menu is solid, too - nice, wide range of offerings; I had the Cobb Salad which was well executed. I was there on a Friday night and it was fairly busy but the service didn't miss a beat. They don't print a beer list to be sure to tell your server your beer preferences and they'll make a recommendation. These guys know their beer...whenever I'm near McAllen, I'll be there.

“One of the best options for late night dining in town”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

I just love this place, whether to eat brunch, lunch or late night dinner, it is always great! The menu is extensive, with great appetizers (I love the ahi tuna), very good entree's (delicious paninis and pizzas... specially Nixon's Chicken Panini and Kelly's Machine Gun Pizza) and nice desserts (the apple strudel is amazing)! It accomplishes what any restaurant should... they use a not very extensive variety of high quality ingredients to offer a great variety of dishes to its customers! And it definitely has the best beer selection in town!! Service is generally great, but it can be a little bit slow if you order food late at night. You should also consider that that the place can be noisy at night (it is also a pub)!

“Love this place.”
Reviewed May 15, 2012 via mobile

Great menu with yummy choices. Terrific beer selection. Great atmosphere. Sometimes the service can be lacking and the booths are uncomfortable because the table height and chair don't match. Otherwise, my favorite places for lunch and evening fun!
