“One of a Kind Experience!”

Reviewed July 5, 2014

Open Friday & Saturday late night only this is truly a unique eating experience. The restaurant is decked out with various electronics from years' past and provide an intriguing and amusing way to stay entertained while you wait for your order. Old school jams play on a rotating 8 track player and the food is served picnic style on a plexi tray with grassy turf. Inside seating is limited, but you'll get a kick out of the 60's style orb chairs and TV tray tables. The menu serves up a classic grilled cheese, as well as specialty grilled cheese sandwiches that will make any foodie swoon. Another awesomely creative venture by FoodShark. Cash only, so come prepared.

I imagine that this spot offers excellent late night drunk food. You can't go wrong with a hot, gooey, melty grilled cheese after a night out on the town. However, I found this place, the staff, and the clientele very hip. Somewhat uncomfortably hip. While the decor and the museum aspect were intriguing, I made the mistake of showing up sober for the food after attending a Star Party at the McDonald Observatory. While the cheese to bread ratio was excellent, the ingredients were decent, and the service was pretty fast, my sandwich came out burnt on one side, which was very sad. I want to like this place. I'd probably give it another try when I'm back in Marfa.

They have grill cheeses late at night, packed to the brim with amazing fillings. but its a local hangout, so if your lucky enough to find it open. i say stick around and meet the weirdos who lurk in marfa.

i sadly only stayed up late once last year but luv the richness of cheeze and buttered grilled bread, chips and drink. i now try to clean and maintain this special spot in town among severa other odd jobs, The FOOD SHARK dinning buss is a cool place to chill out and enjoy music and twinkly lites.
