Went here to check out the possible of wedding venue. But fell in love with the food and wine, and everything. Great little wine tasting room. Dining option is only for lunch or special events. But its well worth everything.

“Worth the trip!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 22, 2014

This was the first winery my husband and I visited on our weekend anniversary getaway. We both loved the port (and it was a great deal since the 750 mL bottle cost what many 375 mL bottles cost) and the sparkling raspberry wine. We liked some others, but those were fantastic and since we were planning to visit several more wineries, we were trying not to overbuy at any one place. I did ask my husband if he was sure he didn't want a 2nd bottle of the port, but he decided not to as he was sure he'd encounter something else he loved at another winery we would visit.

As things like this turn out, he was sorry we didn't buy more while we were there! We considered driving 2 hours out of our way to go back and buy more, but ultimately decided to just order some more.

This is a beautiful winery and they have some wonderful wines! Be sure to buy what you want while you are there - especially if you like the Port - although they do distribute, they apparently don't distribute that one widely - it's nowhere in the city of Houston!

Thank you for your great review! Glad you enjoyed to Port! If you're looking for our Port in Houston, you might try calling Spec's Liquor Store...they usually have it. Or you can always order online or make the drive to see us! Thanks again!

“Beautiful Hill Country Winery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2014

After researching Hill Country wineries online and looking at pictures, we decided to check out Flat Creek. The drive out there was really pretty, and the winery itself was gorgeous. The views were incredible, and the wine tasting did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The day we went, the weather didn't look too promising and it had just rained, so we basically had the place to ourselves. The rain held out, the clouds rolled away and the sun shone down. It ended up being a wonderfully relaxing experience among the natural beauty of the hill country. Definitely recommend!

“Great vineyard and winery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2014

We knew we were going to be in the TX Hill Country area the weekend before Christmas and Flat Creek was on our list of wineries to visit. They did not disappoint. The drive was beautiful despite the cool, cloudy weather and the winery itself was inspiring. The tasting was $10 for six tastes so my wife and I each had a tasting and split up our selections to taste as many offerings as we could. For tastings you sit and the staff brings the wine to you. Very comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were very knowledgeable about their wines and didn't hesitate to answer any question we had. At one point the owner Madelyn came by and spoke with us, she even served one of our tastes. Since wine tasting is subjective I won't spend much time reviewing them but to say we enjoyed most of them. This winery is now in our top three TX wineries.

“Beautiful winery, delicious wines, friendly staff!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2013

We had read some glowing reviews about this vineyard and winery recently, so it was high on our "to do" list while in Marble Falls. The propery and builings are very, very nice and make the winding road worth it to get here. In fact, the road to get here is part of the fun! We did a wine tasting and the young lady was very friendly, and I love that you are seated at a high top table instead of standing at the counter as you do in a lot of winerys. The tasting was $10 for 6 wines including the glass to keep. We were given an extra tasting of a wine outside of our selections as well, the only thing I would say is that the pours are very small compared to other wine tastings we have done, which are quite a few. We loved their wines and bought several to bring home.. We actually joined their wine club, because we have never visited a winery where we liked so many of their wines. We went next door to the beautiful bistro and had a wood fired pizza which we both agreed was one of the absolute best we had ever had. I understand that reservations are reccomended for the bistro at times but we were there on a weekday so we walked right in with no problem. Can't wait to visit again on our next visit to the area.Highly reccomend!
