“Scenic Drive”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Take your time and enjoy the scenic drive through the Hill Country to this hidden jewel. The Brewery also has a restaurant on site, that recommends a reservation. My husband and I arrived at the end of service so we missed out on the restaurant however. The wine tasting area takes place inside the gift shop area. We were greeted by the friendly hostess who guided us through our first wine tasting. We choose different wines on our cards so we could sample a wide selections of the wine offerings. The hostess was knowledgeable about each wine. At the end of the tasting we ended up buying many bottles of wine and were presented with two wine glasses with the Flat Creek Winery logo.
On our next visit we will make time for the restaurant, the Pizza is cooked in a wood over and come highly rated.

“Wow”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

Just the drive is worth it. Gorgeous in spring with the wildflowers blooming. Set in the hills it's lovely. We ate at the bistro and did a tasting and enjoyed both immensely. We had wild mushrooms on our pizza a first for me and I loved it. The wines were all so different that even a wine clueless person like me had fun and had definite preferences. The buildings are gorgeous inside and out.

“It's a Good Life”
Reviewed April 5, 2013 via mobile

Beautiful setting, superb, charming and informative service provided by Amanda and Iowaian owners. Wine is very good and the outdoor patio and inside tasting room will call you to stay and linger until closing. Enjoy. There super Texan makes you say La Dolce Vita.

“The Way Wine tasting should be done”
Reviewed March 10, 2013

If you want a very relaxing and enjoyable wine tasting venue, then you came to the correct location. Beautiful setting amongst the vineyard in the rolling hills of the Travis Mountain area above Marble Falls. The hospitality is terrific and the wines are absolutely delicious. We were there to enjoy a leisurely Saturday lunch and wine tasting, and we were not disappointed. The selection of wines was great, liked the Viognier 2010, Blanco Brio 2012 and Cuvee Blanc 2012 about the best, but rest was hard not to vote for. Wine tasting cost was very reasonable and you got a complimentary glass included. Can't wait to be able to return and continue tasting some of the other choices.

“For a peaceful relaxing day this is the place to do it”
Reviewed March 8, 2013

On a whim I decided to head out and try Flat Creek Winery. So happy I chose this place. With the cool weather, it was just perfect. Just the layout of the winery is a sight for sore eyes. You body goes into relax mode the minute you enter the premises. The wine tasting room is decorated with warm earth colors, cute barrel tables, and the most helpful and cheerful attendant. And the bistro is equally a sight to see. You can gaze out the windows to the vineyard while
Enjoying their fabulous angus burger and of course, wine.
The only down side is their hours (bistro closes at 4pm) and there were some food stains on the table cloth. But otherwise, I have found another place I can go when I need to chill and have some me time.
