The hotel is situated right on the Lake (request odd numbered room for lake view) and is close to main street and restaurants. We were here on a weekend to attend events in Johnson City and Fredericksburg - where hotels were more expensive. This was a good option with a bit of driving. The front desk personnel were welcoming and friendly, and the rooms were well kept with nice bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. The only two minor complaints we had were that the windows were dirty and we had to open them in order to get any good photos of the lake, and also that the breakfast food was not very good. (ex: bananas all were almost spoiled with so many black spots that they did not look at all appetizing)

Room Tip: Odd numbered rooms have lake views

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights and it was wonderful. Check in was easy, the lobby was inviting, the room was clean and had a wonderful view of the Colorado River. Breakfast was very good and the staff at the hotel was friendly and efficient. We would definitely stay here again.

Only an hour and a half from my home in San Antone, this Hampton never ceases to please the senses, and the hot tub with both a sunrise & sunset lake view is just what this solo weekend traveler went a little bit out of the way for. Thanks again Y'all!

The hotel was within easy walking distance to main street, restaurants and the park. We attended an event on the lake at the park and had a two block walk. We will visit this hotel again when we have time to sit by the pool overlooking the lake and bridge. Price was higher than it should be in my opinion. Hamptons are always reliable hotels.

If you are going to use your Hilton reward points DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I used my points and I guess since I did that they decide that means to stay in the worst room they have. We were on the first floor right by the pool, so we could hear people outside at all times during the day/ morning. It wasn't until 6am when we were woken up by loud noises did we realize that our room was directly below the dinning room. We went to bed late and wanted to get some rest and sleep in but starting about 5:30 or 6 am is when all the foot steps, chairs moving, people talking, and carts rolling on the floor all started. Forget trying to get a nap later one because you had people outside talking and still people upstairs walking. The halls smelled like cigarette smoke even though most of the rooms around were non-smoking. When I went to check out, there were two people checking in and the lady at the front desk just told us to leave the keys and we could leave. Instead of asking us if we wanted to wait she basically just said "ok bye." Obviously this hotel does not care to hear about how the stay is for their guest. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The room type that was booked with your Hilton Honors points is a room that is only available on the first floor level. As with all of our guests, every effort is made to accommodate our guests on a higher floor if at all possible. Our hotel was fortunate enough to sell out on the night of your stay, so we did not have the availability to place your room on a higher floor.
