My niece attends college at Tech. While visiting she suggested we go there to eat.Not a large place, but big enough. Quaint you could say. Nice atmosphere. Best food, service we had while in Lubbock. Good prices. Probably helped that I didn't have high expectations. Everyone at the table loved their food. I had the Blackened Ponchartrain Salmon. Was awesome. Didn't have any, but nice that the served alcohol. Definitely a place I would end up often if lived in Lubbock. :)

Went with a party of six from work. I had a filet. VERY good. But others who had pasta complained and made comments like the could have made better themselves. Sauce and pasta looked gummy. Wine concept is cool but very expensive. Fondue is mediocre. Melted cheese and chocolate tastes cheap and rubbery. Very UNimpresive. Beautifully decorated. Very good service. Wouldn't go back though. Too risky and way too expensive.

Stopped in during the week, so the place wasn't too crowded. My drink was good. The food was excellent and ready quite quickly. The waitress was nice and attentive. I can see how the place would be difficult to move through when it is full of people because the tables are quite close together. Great atmosphere and there was good music the previous time I visited.

a different sampling of sandwiches, N'awlins style....an interesting twist on the usual deli, but nothing to rave about...just a quick bite...

Highly recommend this restaurant when visiting Lubbock. You can have either cajun spicey or moderate spicey. Either way, the food is great!
