We went on a field trip and they have a really neat scavenger hunt. Really friendly people and nice upkeep.

This museum is dedicated to ranching. It primarily offers a number of example of ranch houses. It is interesting but not something I would go a long way out of my way to visit.

This institution is located on/near the campus of Texas Tech University. It is a beautiful facility surrounded by art and historical replicas of/from the old west. It really is a fine homage to ranchers, West Texas and the American frontier.

A fantastic history of Ranching you should not miss. Real buildings from the past, that have been moved from their original ranch to the NRHC. The are fantastic to see anytime of the year, but if you can see them during the 2nd weekend in December, you will love it. During this December weekend, on Friday and Saturday night, you will see live re-enactments in each structure. This is just so magical. Just a fantastic place to visit!!! NRHC is free, but likes donations to help cover expenses. ($5 to $20 will work for the whole family)

Took my daughters senior pictures here. Lots of great backgrounds for the photographer to work with. Staff was not as friendly about taking pictures.
