We stayed @ room 210. Worst room ever at any Comfort Suites I have ever been to.
Carpet was a disaster, it was greasy and sticky. My 2 yr old daughter walked for a couple of minutes on it and her socks got stained completely black.
Comforter in one queen bed had spots all over it. Sheets and towels seemed to be ok.
Fridge and microwave also ok. Desk had handles falling apart.
Hall of second floor was very dirty. Not a good smell at all in there.
For $99 + taxes, I am almost sure I could have got something better.
Location of hotel is great, close to the loop and decent places to have dinner.

My husband and I stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites (5828 I-27 S., Lubbock, Texas) this last weekend, and we thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. We had stayed several weeks ago at another hotel chain that was supposed to be ultra nice, but we found that this Comfort Inn & Suites in Lubbock was much nicer with larger rooms and super-comfortable beds (not broken down mattresses on the sides). We had two queen beds and a queen pull-out couch, a large chair, a modern-flat screen TV set, a four-drawer dresser, and various end tables. Our room was commodious, very clean, had a nice bathroom with one sink but a large/well-lighted mirror where I could see easily to put on my makeup. The shower was large with a halo shower curtain; we had a nice microwave and refrigerator;and there was a large area to hang our clothes. One of the pluses of this hotel was that our room had a number of electrical outlets for iPhones and other plug-ins. We ate the free breakfast which consisted of choices of four types of fresh juices and various high-protein items (boiled/scrambled eggs, sausage) and biscuits/waffles/cereals. The decor of the hotel was very attractive with many different seating areas for family gatherings. The hotel was in a good location because our meeting was held at Texas Tech which was about 10 minutes away. We definitely would stay in this motel again.

Overall it was a good value. Our comforter had stains on it, but was promptly replaced. The breakfast was decent, typical waffle machine, bagels, some hot food (biscuits were hard as a rock). Coffee wasn't monitored well, but once brought to their attention, they made more. Beds are comfortable. Price was good.

This hotel is right off the 289 Loop (near Slide) and is an excellent location for an overnight stop. The Inn was comfortable and served a complimentary, hot edible breakfast. There is a Golden Corral restaurant 50 yards away serving an all day buffet meal for those who want more variety. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly, helpful and obliging, which I guess is true of all West Texans. Easy access to well known chain restaurants and to Texas Tech University.

The Comfort inn and suits at lubbock, tx was one of the best trips we have took so fare. the clerk at the desk at check in was very nice and cheerful, ask for king room when checked in, was very polite and stated all rooms were full and one was not avalable, needed extra towels and not a question why, just gave them with a smile, the room was very clean and fresh. the bathroom was clean and had all the extras that was needed. The internet was a little slow but had now problem with getting connected. the pool area was nice, need some slip protection around pool, the breakfast area was clean and the attendant keep the hot food filled and hot all the time, She was very helpful with items when asked, Upon check out the desk clerk was very nice no problems with check out.

Room Tip: this motel has only two floors, if you need a quite night ask for upper floor at end of hall, reserve early, fills fast.
