We enjoyed the the First Friday Art Trail starting here and winding through 22 Arts venues. There were some refreshments and live music as well as art work to view or purchase. We didn't use it but there was a free trolley service to travel between studios and galleries. I was especially impressed with the clay studio with some unique rusted metal gates with pottery designs. There was a wide variety of contemporary art,photo-realism to non-objective abstract. Even a few big name originals like Warhol and Picasso were on display in one gallery.
If you are in the Hub city on the first Friday of the month, look for those green Trolleys and get a tour map at the LHU Art Center to plot your course through Lubbock's growing Arts District.
