“Sunday Brunch”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

We visited Manna for the first time this past Sunday for brunch. We went with our daughter, son-in-law and 2 granddaughters (ages 7 and 11.) The wait wasn't as bad as I had expected. Their brunch menu has one-price per entree and this includes baskets of bread and bowls of fruit at the table. The wait between the time we ordered and the time that our entrees arrived was a little long, but we had the bread and fruit to munch on, so that wasn't bad. I ordered the chicken and waffles which I enjoyed. The portion of my food was just a fair amount for the price. My husband ordered the pancakes and bacon and got a huge portion which justified the price. The food was tasty, but the service was just fair. We might try this restaurant again to see if we are more impressed at a dinner shift.

“Buffalo & Elk”
Reviewed September 6, 2012

The buffalo, elk, and beef meatloaf is worth the trip to Lubbock alone. Service can be a little slow, but hte dining experience is wonderful. The pasta with steak medallions is another fine choice. Don't forget the local wines on the list.
