This place is awesome for cheap homemade Mexican food! The service is so fast, every waitress works together in making sure everyone is taking care of!!

“One of the best breakfast burritos in Lubbock”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2012

Overall, not the best Mexican restaurant, but the food is pretty good. Now, their breakfast burritos is another story. They are HUGE! And, inexpensive. Many ingredients from which to choose.

“Go here for the food not the ambiance”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2012

This is a classic small Mexican restaurant with virtually no ambiance and absolutely scrumptious food. We went here for lunch and the place was packed with locals and college students, both of which we took to be good signs. The staff are very friendly and the service was very fast. The al pastor platos was spicy and very tender and the portion size was enormous. My wife's supreme burrito was covered with a thick, rich quesa. The salsa had just a bit of a bite and the chips were fresh and thin. Definitely one of the best Mexican meals we have eaten in quite a while.

“Mexican food like my Abuela used to make!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2012

This is not The place to go for fancy dining or gourmet foo-foo food. If you want great Mexican food and lots of it for no muncho dinero---this is the place to go!!! The carne al pastor tacos are finger-licking good. The gorditas come in breakfast varieties (eggs, potatoes and lots of bacon optional cheese) or you can have them stuffed with barbacoa or also carne al pastor, yummmy! Their sopas(soups) seem expensive on the menu until they bring you out a huge bowl full of seafood or beef or chicken depending on which you order, with warm tortillas (corn or flour). The basics are all excellent, enchiladas, burritos, carne guisada, tacos or chiles rellenos. Make sure to ask for the potatoes instead of the rice, you will be glad you did, papitas like Mama made for breakfast! Grab a Mexican praline to take home with you, you won't have room for it after you eat all that great food!
