Took the family to Brenda's Good Eats for lunch. I got the pork chop special, with green beans and mashed potatos. My son got the the king ranch chicken and my wife got the vegetable plate. All of the food was hot and cooked like you do at home. Brenda is alway there and ready to give you a smile and some good southern hospitality. The prices are good and there is always cobbler and ice cream for desert. Get there early around lunch time to get a seat. Brenda also has meals frozen that you can take home and heat and eat later. She is open at lunch and closes around 6:00 p.m. in the evening. A lot of people order turkey and dressing from Brenda at Thanksgiving. Her cooking is that good.
