“Girls Roadtrip!!! For friend's wedding”

This weekend was a planned road trip for a good friend's wedding! Oh what fun!! Seriously! The wedding party stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lewisville, Texas and first of all the lady that checked us in had my last name. (good sign) OMG! Even though we were there along with several other events/groups everything seemed to be going well. The only flaw was check-out time (Sunday) we wanted our wedding party farewell breakfast to be together and they denied the request but then allowed "another" group of folks to push together a long table to sit together. Eh! i don't know, i wanna say it was because there were a BUNCH of us and they just didn't have the room. Due to that same issue, the staff became a tad flustered trying to make sure we were ok and there was a delay on some of our breakfast orders. BUT the food was YUMMY so it's ALL good. There were no other flubs. PLUS your beds are the adjustable mattresses if that type of stuff matters...ya know soft or hard mattresses. So if you are in the Lewisville, Denton, Irving area check this spot out...it's between 35E and hwy 121 walking distance to a mall and other shopping spots AND eateries. No problems with noise levels in our room. Very nice!

Returned back to HGI based on a previous satisfactory stay. Though I really enjoy the HGI product, there's a few things that could be changed to make the avergae stay much better.

1. The beds are supposed to be adjustable...they are not. I stayed in two different rooms and two different beds. One side was hard as a rock, the other side had a huge dip. Even after changing the settings, the bed stayed the same. HGI should go back to pillow tops or something.

2. The doors are designed to close on their own. However, most people open the doors wide and allow them to slam close. And this can be heard/felt several rooms down the hall. If you are a light sleeper, this will happen throughout the night and morning as people have varied schedules. HGI should look into door hinges that will still allow the door to close automatically, but still prevents slamming of the doors.

3. Upon check-in, we were told "There's breakfast and evening happy hour". However, it is not mentioned that it's at an additional cost. This may be petty, but there's nothing wrong with full disclosure.

Other than that, this is a really nice hotel and conveniently located to the airport and surrounding areas. The service is excellent...everyone is always willing to help or answer a stupid question from someone not from the area. But the best part about the hotel, to me, is that they wash all the beddings. I been to other hotels and have taken the comforter off in fear of what previous guest may or may not have done on it. This is not the case here...cleanliness and service is probably their greatest strengths!

Awesome service! Beautiful and comfortable room. The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome! Inexpensive. The only complaint I had was being right next to the elevator but once I figured out what it was I had no problem with the noise. It was like a lullaby.

Room Tip: Don't sleep next to the elevator if the noise will bother you. But the rooms were very nice!

Your noise level was horrible. We can hear guests flushing their toilets, guests rudely talking and running down the hall, bed was hard as wood, the military discount was not applied because we didnt book through the website, and having to hear weird noises through the vents. I do not recommend this hotel for the price they charge guests!

The beds are adjustable with a dial located on the side of the mattress. This adjustment can make the bed soft or firm depending on your preference. I deeply apologize for the noise and disturbance you experienced while staying with us.

We want our guests to have the best stay possible where everything is like new, in place and of the highest quality. I am sorry this was not the case during your stay. You can be confident that we have followed-up on your concerns so that others are not disappointed as you were.

Spent time in many different hotels, and the least they could have done for the price was include the breakfast. The "Breakfast Buffet" looked like one from many lower priced hotels, but was an additional 10$ charge per guest. For that price we enjoyed breakfast at one of the local landmark resturants..... The room was nice and clean; the staff was professional and friendly, Just saying what they were offering for the food, should have been free

Was here for three nights in January. Hotel was newer and clean and well decorated in a modern theme.
The room was good sized, bed was fair. Room had coffee, fridge, flat panel tv and wifi. The hotel has a bar open in the evenings and the service was above average.
The meeting spaces are large and they handled the food service well. Breakfast was great, lunches and dinners were acceptable but not really my tastes.
Definitely would stay here again as this is exactly what I expect from the Hilton Garden Inns. Clean, well served, appointed and friendly.
Recommend.

Great Hotel. Reasonable rates and very clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Breakfast was served hot and fresh. WiFi was available throughout the hotel with excellent Broadband coverage. The Business Center was well stocked and very clean and comfortable to use
