This is the hub of League City.
Love going there for three years now. Not a dive bar but a friendly local place with lots of regulars. Owners are super cool!! Have a cigar and listen to local music-
Hands down..our fave place to go. Owners, Toni and Chris, are like family...or at least cool family members who have great wine.
We were visiting friends in League City and it turns out that my friend's band, DeNovo, was performing here last night. What a great ambience, and the music was fantastic. Great oldies to be heard and good wine was served to a packed house.
I'm not a wine drinker but it's a nice place to bring friends who are. Knowledgeable wine staff with a warm and friendly atmosphere. I stopped in to get warm during annual Christmas parade and it was a very fun perk to the evening. It's an establishment that has changed owners at least twice in the past four or five years. New owners have done a good job of creating a nice community oriented wine bar that is welcoming to tourists where out of towners can ask questions about the area.
Heard some good live acoustic guitar shows and enjoyed the outdoor seating area under a very large old oak tree which has a deck built around it. Used to have screenings of concerts on that deck with table seating for their guests. Nice place to go on a date if you're wine enthusiasts. Parking is tight there so we rode our bikes.
Met business partners here for meeting. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service but not much parking for the group that gathered. Need to carpool if possible. I was served the Build your own bruschetta which was excellent and freshly prepared. Good wine choices available too.
When you are craving delicious Greek food, then Bacchus is a great choice. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The menu includes most Greek favorites such as gyros, Greek salad, spannakopita, etc. The servers are outgoing and helpful when you have questions about menu items. They have a nice wine list, the prices are affordable, and it's suitable for families or a romantic dinner. Located in Kemah, it's easy to find and there is adequate parking in front of the location.
