If one is looking for a salad, this is a go-to place. A vareity of fresh toppings for the green salad. Enough care is given to this area to warrant a 5-star in terms of doing it well for what it is. I often see an attendant refilling. This matters to us later lunchers. However, I would not even want to give a three star for the other pre-made salads. They are not awful, but have a bit of the left-over feel. Don't be detered however, if these hold no interest. The salad is good and the soups have a variety. Not gourmet soup--but a good selection. The only reason my review is less than very good because of the quality of the green salad area is the price. For the price paid for the buffet, I believe the other areas should be stronger.

“A great lunch”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

Salada's has a huge salad bar, plus lots of extras. You can get just as little or as much as you like. If you get the whole meal, you can have salad, soup, baked potato, bread, dessert, and more. It is self -serve.

“Soup and Salad?”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

Plus a few dinner buffets! I have eaten there a few times sometimes excellent but have had disappointing time too when things weren't so fresh!

“Fabulous hamburgers”
Reviewed December 5, 2012

Even though this is a "soup and salad" place, we generally have hamburgers. Better than most in the Kerrville area. Did have the twice baked potato soup and it was great.

“Mediocre”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

This place was recommended as good for a quick lunch. It was quick and if you want a salad bar with some variety, this is it. But we ordered off the menu. I asked for quich Lorraine; I got scrambled eggs in a so-so pie crust with a slice of bacon on top, trapped in melted cheese. A side salad came with, and was better than the usual bowl of lettuce. My friend ordered pulled pork sandwich which arrived on a burnt bun with some of the pork burned as well. She said the non-burned bits were quite tasty. We won't be back.
