There are great places to eat and then there are those that are special. Grape Juice is special in every sense of the word. The atmosphere, setting, food, and service are exceptional. The staff was excellent, answering any and all questions that we had about the menu. They took their time with us, allowing us to sample selections before making our choice. The Antelope sliders were beyond incredible, possibly the best burger that I have ever had.
Grape Juice has a "West Coast" feel to it, but they make it work in good old Kerrville and make it work to perfection. If you are in the mood for something different, it doesn't get any better than Grape Juice.

We stopped at Grape Juice with a business associate at his recommendation, looking for a place for quiet conversation and a cool drink.

The ambience of Grape Juice is unique. From a retail section, you step first to the bar and an area where drapes separate sofas and seating areas and beyond to regular seating area and then outside dining.

We took a seat at the bar and were engaged by the bartender as he explained the assorted specialty beers on tap. Huge assortment! My companions ordered Texas Red which they both liked for the full bodied flavor. I opted for the chicken tortilla soup which was obviously home made and bursting with flavor and chunks of white chicken meat. Just the right size.

We noticed a number of special activities coming up at Grape Juice including a special wine judging event, so their people look for ways to keep customers returning.

If we lived closer, we'd be back often.

This cozy little restaurant was a HUGE surprise! You would expect it to just be a bar scene serving beer and wine, but their food was the big hit! Having lived in the South and Texas on 2 occasions, I have eaten my share of chili. But the chili at Grape Juice was absolutely the best I have ever had. It's made with cabrito, which is baby goat, and is just yummy. Their homemade vegetable soup was also wonderful and the antelope sliders are killer good. Yum! Yum!

What a surprise this restaurant held in store - excellent food with an outside patio near the Guadalupe River, specializing in out-of-the-ordinary food in a reasonable price range. The staff and owners go out of their way to make you feel at home and the selection of wines and beers is the best! Located right in downtown Kerrville, there is plenty of parking in the parking garage across the street or to the side and behind the restaurant. Love this place!

I always enjoy going to Grape Juice. They have a rotating menu of beer and wine and the servers are happy to recommend something if you just describe what you like. They will let you taste also and will keep working until you find something. Because it is a rotating menu, you get a chance to try lots of different things, but it's best not to get too attached to anything because it may well be gone the next visit in favor of something else to try. That doesn't bother me as I like trying new things. The food is really good. They have dinner plates as well as shared appetizer plates to have with a drink. The ambiance is great with both tables and couches and you never feel like you are being rushed out. The back patio is wonderful when it's warm! Sometimes they have live music and it has nice little twinkly lights. I highly recommend Grape Juice!
