My son and I have visited the Boardwalk twice now and I think we've seen everything. Our most recent trip was a bit more pleasant because it wasn't 100 degrees (although it did rain). Really, once you've walked through (and the kids have ridden on all the rides) unless you want to eat at a Landry's-chain restaurant, you're done. My son really wanted to stay the whole day but he got bored so we left after a couple of hours. Although there's no charge to walk around the Boardwalk, there is a parking fee and there's a fee for the rides. Oh, and the restaurants are really expensive for what they're offering. It's a fun thing to do but parking and the area traffic are both awful!

Thank Lindarene

Just got back from a lovely Sunday afternoon at Kemah Boardwalk. Although it was a lovely sunny day the place wasn't too busy and there were no queues for the rides or the restaurants. The staff were very friendly and lots of fun.
We rode on the Boardwalk Bullet roller coaster which was great fun and also enjoyed the Pharaoh's Fury a swinging boat ride. We ate in Bubba Gumps seafood shop which was great followed by a walk round the shops.
This is a great place to get away for a day away from the city.

Visiting this area on a weekend is not my first choice. The bayside area was the most enjoyable part of this place. There are things for kids of all ages to see and do!! Food stalls everywhere!!

If you like rides this is the place for you. Wooden roller coaster. Festivals on the Boardwalk are fun.

Kemah is a small get away for a day or half the day. The boat tour and singing YMCA is not that exciting. The old fashioned shops could use some updated items, Too many mugs.
The daiquiris are just ice don't waste $10
