“Very Nice and Not overcrowded”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 15, 2013 via mobile

I expected this Main Event location to be Saturated with people but it turned out to be a great size and layout to make the event enjoyable. They seem to have some new activities over the Clear Lake/Webster location.

Drinks and food were good and moderately priced.

We will be going back soon for a birthday party so hope the experience is the same second time around.

“Fun times with cousins, varying ages...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2013

Went with my 2 boys ages 15 & 17, and my nieces/nephews ages 11-17. We played laser tag & bowled, they did the climbing thing, they all had a good time. There are other things to do here but that's all we did.

“Fun for kids, great never ending kid party, lousy staff”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 19, 2013

We did the complete party experience for kids and they had a really great time. For most of them, it was not a big deal about waiting in line for the laser tag and other activities. This place was way over booked. They have certain times the parties get to do events, and something happened where they were 30 minutes behind, meaning everything was pushed back and parents were arriving to get their kids before the party was over. The previous review is right about small children and keeping track of smaller ones... good luck.

The teenagers working the party rooms were trying their best, but it was clear they were understaffed and overworked. The office staff was something else, there is no leadership and everyone must get approval from someone else for anything to get done. Once they have your deposit, good luck getting anything done, or even a return phone call.

The food was good, but they would not allow the parents to have any of the kids food. ex. Some of the kids did not want pizza, so a few parents tried to sneak their kids' food. They were told where to order extra food, so the pizza that was brought out was taken back if the kids said no.

This place is huge and the kids had a good time, so we will probably return in a couple of months to see if the details got ironed out.

“Modern entertainment complex”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2013

Bowled ate & kids played in arcade for a little while. Service was very slow but we were not in a hurry so didnt worry about it, its not been opened long and the staff were trying their best to provide the best servive but it wasn't quite running smooth tho will surely improve.
Will definately return, a very nice clean entertainment venue, much more family friendly feel to it than other places.
There is laser quest will try that next time!

“Fun for Large Groups”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013

This is a beautiful modern facility. The bar and food area is open to the rest of the bowling/gaming area, while this adds to the excitement it can also be noisey. This is my third trip in a few short months. The high open concept makes for a thrilling air. Teens love the game room club atmosphere. Little ones may be overwhelmed by the multi directions of so many activities, and parents may find it difficult to keep up with several small children on busy days. Birthday parties are in the open area, while rooms of all sizes are available for private or corporate events. The price can be steep and dropping a couple hundred dollars for a small family could easily happen. Sign up for the discount emails. I get regular special event notices that make the fun much more affordable. Adults will love Main Event also. The food here is actually good and the menu varies well beyond burgers and pizza. A full, well designed bar area is located among the pool tables and bowling lanes, keeping the video game noise at bay. The gravity ropes have been a huge hit with everyone in our groups. The secure, haranessed in systems gives freedom to roam high above the crowds while still being safe. The laser tag gaming area is the most fun course in the area. It has two levels with ramps, and lots of hiding areas and is great fun from little ones and adults alike. Video games are varied and memorable. There is a huge (maybe 12' by 12') connect four game and the giant fruit ninja had my kids talking for days. All in all a trip to the Main Event of Katy is a wonderfully fun and entertaining way to spend an afternoon.
