We had stayed here previously a few years ago - not luxurious, but clean and inexpensive. Expected the same, but were very disappointed. The room was shabby - holes in the door, damaged walls, carpet frayed, mismatched linens. The carpet was filthy - turned the soles of our socks BLACK. The hot breakfast included in the room rate was GONE by 8 a.m. The toilet was iffy, the sink "sang" a really loud, high pitch when the hot water was on and the vanity lights flickered badly. The pool water was murky and green. The only thing that could have made our stay any worse would have been a coin-operated vibrating bed... And for just a bit more money, we could have stayed downtown in one of the nice hotels - which is what we will be doing next time!

Stayed here on March 31st. The staff was very friendly. The overall appearance of the room was not great but it had a nice bed. The big drawback is that it is located near a railroad crossing and I heard every train that crossed that night. Honestly not a horrible experience but could use better maintenance.

Basic rate is $64. Friendly people, clean and good location. Right on HWY 59 (Walcott) it is next to some great Mexican food and wonderful margaritas. The staff is friendly and the lady at the counter spoke good English. Room was clean and breakfast had a great variety of items. More than some places I've stayed lately ! There is a railroad track nearby so some people might want to request a room on the back side of the hotel. The staff was very thoughtful and attentive. They even checked on our satisfaction just after we got into the room. Very nice place. Will stay again for sure.

Room Tip: There is a railroad nearby so request a room onb the back side if this is something that might bothe...

This is a ok hotel to stay in. If you are looking for fancy, then I suggest going down town to the more upscale hotels and bed & breakfasts. I stay two nights it slept 4 people and was only $56.00 a night. The room was equipped with a microwave, mini fridge, alarm clock, cable television, and free wifi. There is a outdoor swimming pool. This inn offers smoking and non-smoking rooms.

No stopper for bath tub so had to use the shower cap provided for a stopper. No stopper for the dirty old sink. What looked like a mixture of spider webs and leaves on wall. No maid service. They had almost 8 hours and couldn't come in a make up the bed and leave clean towels. Had to call for clean towels and washcloths and soap. Not very clean. If you just want a room for a reasonable rate that isn't that far away from everything, it'll do. But, that's about it.

Room Tip: The back side is quiet.

We will NEVER stay here again EVER! Wallpaper is peeling off the walls. You can hear everything through the walls...not only from outside, but also the rooms on either side of you! They had replaced the shower curtain with one that does not need hooks...and left the old hooks hanging on the curtain rod! You will hear the trains all night! The carpet is dirty. The beds are uncomfortable. I told my husband I would be surprised if we did not get bedbugs from this place! The maids need training on how to really clean the rooms! They advertise free wi-fi, and we were NEVER able to get on and stay on the internet. We called the desk and complained several times, but they never fixed it. We told the owner the next day and she just dismissed the complaint! We will simply stay in a bed and breakfast in town the next time we are passing through...cleaner, more comfort, quiet and a nice hot breakfast...NONE of those things will happen at this hotel! Just a gross, nasty, dirty place...do not stay here!

Room Tip: There are no good rooms here! Go to a B and B instead!
