My wife and I had a great time at Delta Street Inn. We stayed two nights in room #1. Highly recommend this room if you want plenty of sun and a private balcony. The room was very clean and the decor was from early turn of the century. The breakfast was very good. The owners, Pam and Bob were very informative about the area and the local events for entertainment. Highly enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the occasional train noise that sometimes was heard throughout the night but the confortable bed made up for this slight inconvenience. We will definitely come back and stay again. Also make a run out to Lake Caddo and take a tour..well worth it!

Room Tip: room number 1 has a private balcony and a full bath. the sun was always available. very big compared to the others.

We had a great time at Delta Street Inn. We stayed two nights in room 2. This was not a typical B&B in its decor. It wasn't overly flowery and all that, just classicly styled and clean. The hospitality was very warm and the breakfast was very good. The prices were a very good value for what we got. We would definitely like to come back some time and would recommend it to anyone who is planning to come to Jefferson. (I put "average" for sleep quality, because the bed was very comfortable--as nice as any bed I've stayed in--but there was a pretty loud train that went by a couple of times a night)

. . . and we can't remember a better stay in a B&B. We stayed a couple of nights at the Delta Street Inn (probably because of strong positive reviews on Trip Advisor and others) on a 3-day, first time tour of this part of East TX. Enjoyed talking with both Bob and Pam, and learned they are very involved in voluntary local community service, yet found the time to beautifully update/restore this nice old home and operate it as this excellent B&B. We found their restaurant referrals useful and accurate; our first-floor room large, comfortable, and clean; and the breakfasts delicious, nicely presented, and interesting. During our time there, I believe all the other guests were "repeat business". We'll be, too, the next time we're in the area.

This was our second stay at Delta Street. This time we chose Rm #5 - the only first floor room which is nicely decorated and roomy as well. Bob and Pam are great hosts and made us comfortable. There was no room at the inn on our night - all rooms were taken which speaks to the quality of Delta Street. Breakfast was delicious and even though there were ten people at the table, was quite enjoyable. I have recommended Delta Street to several friends and would recommend it to anyone without reservation.

Room Tip: Room 5 is the only first floor room and is large with a nice sized closet and bathroom. It saves you from carrying your luggage up and down the stairs. It is also close to the game room and dining room.

On a whim, my husband and I made plans to visit Jefferson in the middle of the week. I read the reviews for other B&Bs and settled on the Delta Street Inn. We have stayed in B&Bs many times with mixed experiences. Believe the reviews. Delta Street Inn and Bob and Pam are the best!

From the time we arrived, it felt like home. Our room was upstairs and had a private deck which will be beautiful in the Spring. The bathroom was updated and quite large. When we checked in, Bob made sure we had everything we needed and his restaurant recommendations were right on! He even fixed a coffeepot for our use the next morning if case we wanted coffee before we ventured downstairs. Perfect!!

Our breakfasts were quite good and our hosts were very accommodating in a special dietary request. Bob and Pam are both very charming and went beyond what we have come to expect in making sure our visit to Jefferson was a good one.

We have plans to return to Jefferson and will most definitely stay at the Delta Street Inn. We have no reason to want to stay anywhere else!
